Text generator

This dynamic slide generator is available in the PRO version only.

With this generator you can show contents from a text file, or just a simple input field. Each line will be the data for each slides, and with a unique character or characterchain you can separate the variables.

Tutorial

  1. Have a txt file, which contains the text you want to have in your slides in separate rows, and delimit the variables by one or more unique characters. After you got it, you should upload this file somewhere, probably it would be best in your ftp server.
  2. Example:
    http://example.com/image1.jpg||My first slide||made by XY
    http://example.com/image2.jpg||My second slide||made by XZ
    http://example.com/image3.jpg||My third slide||made by ZXY

  3. Create a new slider, or use an existing one.

  4. Choose to give dynamic slides to your slider.

  5. Pick one of the From text generators.
  6. Set up your generator, give the whole url to your text file, if you used the Text from file option. If you used the Text from input option, then just enter your text. Give the delimiter character, change the number of slides to how many do you want to be in your slider (this is the maximum number, if you don't want to specify the number, just show as many slides, as much there is in the txt file, give something big, like 100), change the cache expiration to the time you want your slider to look for new data, and if you want to, you can check, what will be on your slides in the record viewer.
  7. Now you can start working on how your slides will look with the datas of the first slide. You can put down layers, and use the VARIABLE signs to put that data inside them, what you want there to be. If something is not clear, check out how the dynamic slide generators work.
